Tess Swastek

"For the past 5 years, I have made the most amazing friends, found my career path, learned I loved things I never thought I would, had the best jobs, realized how impactful wellness is, learned how to support my physical and mental health, and have had a home away from home with the biggest and best family. With my last group ex class complete, my time with Campus Rec is coming to a close. "Thank you" doesn't even skim the surface for how appreciative I am for all of these people and all of the experiences!"

UNPLUGGED

"I unplug to focus on what is currently going on in my life. I would being doing something, like going on a hike, and spend half the time trying to get the “perfect” shot, disrupting my enjoyment in whatever I was doing. I especially realized this when my dog began to ignore me whenever I have my phone in my hands! I continue to unplug by leaving my phone in my backpack when riding the bus and trying to spend more time reading books than watching TV. This has really helped me to become more mindful and appreciative of the experiences I have in life."
