Group Fitness Classes

Group Fitness Classes at GVSU Recreation & Wellness are a fun and social way to stay active while balancing the demands of college life. Led by certified instructors, classes offer safe, effective workouts that help boost energy, reduce stress, and support overall well-being. With a variety of class formats and options for all fitness levels, students can jump in no matter their experience.

Monday

12:00pm with Meghan

Heavybag Kickboxing classes are designed to be modified; beginners welcome and advanced boxers encouraged to push past potential! This is a great option for those that are looking for an effective, high-quality workout with all the fun of hitting a bag!

Each session blends fundamental strength movements with heart-pumping high-intensity intervals to challenge both muscle and conditioning. Coached by Reagan and Frankie, this class emphasizes smart training, scalable workouts, and coaching cues that help you train hard, move well, and leave feeling accomplished.

Laker Lift offers an inclusive, supportive, and fun environment that focuses on learning how to improve muscular fitness. It consists of a total body workout and our certified personal trainers, Gianna and Michael, are excited to guide you through to achieve proper form, establish confidence, and expand your knowledge of fitness!

RSVP's may be made up to five days in advance. 

Check-In Policy: In the case of a fully booked class.. Sign up under the wait list.  If any of the participants who RSVP'd fail to show up, we will begin to let in the wait list.

Can't make it to class? That's okay! Please cancel your spot on the app as soon as you can to allow others a chance to sign up for the class.
