Description of Roles
President: Facilitates the E-Board, schedules meetings, is the first line of defense on emails, coordinates events with administration, assigns mentor/mentees, supports the other members of the E-Board wherever possible, facilitates next class election. This role likely involves the biggest time commitment.
Vice President: Similar to the President, the VP jumps in wherever possible, especially with the fundraising team. Typically, the VP takes the lead on at least 1 project (Wheel Run, Physio Ball, etc.)
Secretary: The leaders of communication with the class. Updates the Google Calendar and creates weekly updates for the students.
Treasurer: This team manages and oversees funds for the program. They are responsible for setting up and managing the class bank account and they are involved with fundraising as well as monetary decisions for the class. The Treasurers have the final word on charitable donations.
Fundraising Chair: These students play a very important role in fundraising for their cohort. They are involved in creation and facilitation of different fundraisers throughout the program to work alongside the President and VP in order to raise money for graduation, NPTE prep, service trips, etc.
Service Learning Coordinator: These members take charge on coordination for PT Day of Service and many other volunteer opportunities for their classmates to participate in.
Social Chair: Holds the responsibility of class connectivity and planning/coordinating social events for their cohort. This includes planning Griffins games, team bonding, and planning themed events!
Class Mom and Dad: This role includes setting up a class locker, helping with event planning, and being a morale-booster and supporter for their classmates!
Historian: Works with others to set up a way to compile photos, videos, and memories of things occurring in PT School. This is a great way for everyone to have access to class photos.
