Meet the Academic Affairs Communications Team (AACT), a group of communications and marketing professionals working collectively on academic affairs marketing and communication initiatives while providing customized and direct support to the colleges that make up GVSU. With strong connections within the college and across the university, this team was developed to create a more cohesive, strategic, and equitable communications model across Academic Affairs, ensuring that every college has consistent communications support and clarity on Academic Affairs priorities and university-wide strategies.

Currently the team is made up of four Directors of Communications, who are each assigned to specific colleges at GVSU. These directors report to Mary Albrecht, Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs, but are purposefully embedded within their assigned colleges to ensure strong support across the academic affairs division.
