Description
The Office of Undergraduate Research and Scholarship (OURS), a program within the Center for Student Research and Scholarly Engagement (CSRSE), provides support for all undergraduates interested in pursuing research and creative practice within their discipline.
This faculty and student-led session will introduce students to undergraduate research at GVSU. We will discuss what undergraduate research is (and isn’t), what you can expect from a variety of research experiences, as well as how to find a research opportunity and a mentor. This session will also explore how to develop a research question that is suitable for a student-led research experience. The session is open to all students interested in research and creative scholarship.
If you cannot attend this workshop, there will be others this semester! These workshops are designed for first-year undergraduates and first-year transfer students who are new to research, but ALL GVSU undergraduates are welcome to attend and the event is free
This event also appears on the main events calendar tagged as careercenter, csrse, fellowships, ours, and research.
