Application Preparation - Interview

BSN Application: Interview

The Interview makes up 25% of the overall admission decision for both the Traditional and Second-Degree BSN programs and is conducted separately from the rest of the application. Interviewers do not have access to other materials, which ensures the focus remains on the student's responses.

The Interview is the live, face-to-face component of the process, where students engage directly with reviewers. This is an important opportunity to share their story in real time, highlighting personal qualities, values, and experiences that may not come through on paper. Beyond grades and written documents, the interview provides valuable space to show presence, communication skills, and readiness to join the nursing profession.
