Drop-In Advising
Need to change your Fall 2026 schedule?
Nursing advisors are available for virtual drop-in advising during the first week of classes to assist you with making changes to your Fall 2026 schedule.
The deadline to add or drop classes for Fall 2026 without penalty is Friday, September 4, by 5:00 pm.
For assistance, please join the Zoom meeting during one of the days and times listed below.
Drop-In Rules
- Join the Zoom meeting to be placed in the waiting room.
- Advisors will admit students from the waiting room on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Each advising session will be approximately 15 minutes to allow advisors to assist as many students as possible.
- Before your session, please log in to myBanner and be prepared to share your screen if you need assistance making schedule changes.

Schedule an Appointment
If you are a current Grand Valley State University student and have questions about any of the programs offered by the Kirkhof College of Nursing, please follow the instructions below to schedule a one-on-one appointment in Navigate with an Academic Advisor. Appointments are 30 minutes in length and available by phone, virtual (Zoom), or in person on the Allendale or Health campus (located downtown Grand Rapids).
