Our Teams
Academic Research Computing (ARC) provides advanced research and curricular technology solutions, including virtual computer labs, specialized software, and the High-Performance Computing Cluster.
Data & Analytics supports a data-informed culture through trusted data, Power BI dashboards, data governance, training, and the university's Data Lakehouse.
eLearning Technologies supports teaching and learning through course design, instructional technologies, digital media production, and administration of GVSU’s learning management system.
Enterprise Applications provides secure, reliable administrative systems and software solutions that support the university’s academic and operational needs.
Enterprise Architecture designs and maintains the infrastructure that powers GVSU’s digital environment, including networking, cloud and on-premises systems, databases, and collaboration platforms.
IT Innovation + Research (I+R) explores emerging technologies and develops innovative solutions that advance digital transformation and enhance learning, research, and teaching at GVSU.
IT Operations supports the university’s technology ecosystem by managing budgets, contracts, technology acquisition, communications, and key operational processes for the IT division.
IT Security protects the university’s digital environment through cybersecurity, risk management, threat monitoring, incident response, and compliance efforts.
IT Services ensures technology across GVSU is reliable, accessible, and easy to use. The team provides front-line support, classroom and AV services, device assistance, and user-focused solutions.
The Project Management Office (PMO) leads technology initiatives using standardized methodologies, governance, and transparent reporting to align with institutional priorities.
