This website is the authoritative location for policies approved by the University's Board of Trustees and Senior Leadership Team, and certain other policies such as those contained in the Faculty Handbook and the Student Code. It is not meant to be an exhaustive collection of all policies.
The menus along the top will take you to specific collections of policies that are relevant to particular groups of people on campus. Also provided are links to other policies that are not on this website. The categories below are organized by the approving body or publisher of the policy.

Board of Trustees (BOT)
The Board of Trustees has adopted its general philosophies and policies of the University and provides guidance to the Administration in its development of operating policies and procedures. The Board of Trustees' Bylaws contain the operating procedures of the Board. All additions, deletions, and revisions to the Bylaws and the policies of the Board may be made only with the approval of the Board.
Senior Leadership Team (SLT)
The Senior Leadership Team reviews and approves policies that have University-wide applicability that are in addition to those policies approved by the Board of Trustees. These policies are assigned to an administrative unit for oversight.
Shared Governance (SG)
Shared Governance policies are developed cooperatively by the University Academic Senate and the Provost. These policies complement and are not in conflict with those approved by the Board of Trustees or Senior Leadership Team. These policies address academic matters such as faculty responsibilities, certain evaluation procedures, and governance rules. Shared Governance policies are included in the collections of policies found in the faculty menu on the top ribbon of this page.
