After a successful inaugural year, the GV Technology Summit returns in 2026! This year’s Summit will take place on November 3, 2026 on the Valley (Allendale) Campus. This university-wide celebration of technological innovation highlights the work of faculty, staff, and students who are transforming learning, teaching, research, and daily work across GVSU. The event is sponsored by Information Technology and developed in collaboration with colleges and departments throughout the university.

Technology tours are scheduled from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Tour stops include the Atomic Object Technology Showcase, the Digital Creator Lab and other locations in the Mary Idema Pew Library.
Atomic Object Technology Showcase
Attendees will explore the Atomic Object Technology Showcase and see a variety of emerging technologies through hands-on demonstrations and interactive experiences. The tour will highlight innovative tools and ideas that have the potential to enhance teaching, learning and the student experience at GVSU.
Digital Creator Lab
Discover how the Digital Creator Lab supports students as they create digital projects, complete creative assignments, and build digital literacy skills. Meet the consultants who provide hands-on support and learn about the specialized software and equipment available to students, at no additional cost, to help bring their ideas to life.
