Campus survey deadline extended to Dec. 1

The deadline for campus community members to complete the myGVSU climate survey is December 1.
Jesse Bernal, vice president for Inclusion and Equity, said the survey has been extended one week to ensure more participation.
"We cannot impact positive change at Grand Valley until we know where changes are warranted," Bernal said. "This is why 100 percent participation is really important."
Students, faculty and staff members have received an email with a link to the online, confidential survey, which should take about 10 minutes to complete. Bernal said all questions, except the first, are optional.
Data from the past five campus climate surveys has resulted in positive changes at Grand Valley, including creating a student ombuds position, increasing services for nontraditional students and establishing a multifaith prayer space in the Kirkhof Center.
