New for 2023 Recipients

New for service award recipients for the 2023 calendar year, there will be an Annual Service Awards Celebration specifically honoring award recipients. In the past, the President's Holiday Gathering was held in collaboration with the Service Awards Celebration. After receiving feedback from previous service award winners, the university designed this unique event to create a more focused and personal gathering to appropriately recognize our long-serving faculty and staff. The Annual Service Awards Celebration is designed to be a special moment of recognition of our service award recipients, including an awards ceremony and formal lunch. The campus community is invited to participate via livestream.

In January 2024, a full list of recipients will be shared on the Service Awards website and formal invitations will be sent out with additional details. On March 12, 2024, all 2023 recipients will receive information about choosing their gift selection. Human Resources will follow-up with any recipients that are unable to attend the event.

FAQs

Can I bring a guest or a colleague with me? 
The Service Awards Celebration is a special lunch designed only for service award recipients and university leadership (President’s Council – which includes among other, the senior leadership team and deans). The event is curated to be a smaller, intimate gathering. Additional guests cannot be accommodated but are welcome to participate via livestream. 

What is the dress code? 
Business casual attire.

Notice for Award Recipients

Service award recipients may browse award choices prior to the Annual Service Awards ceremony by logging in as a "Guest". You will receive your award catalogue and login information on March 12 at the award ceremony and/or via email.
