Grand Valley Magazine Facts

Now entering its 22nd year, Grand Valley Magazine has a circulation of 130,000.

The magazine is mailed to alumni, parents of current students, faculty and staff members, community members and friends of the university.

Grand Valley Magazine’s mission is to give readers current news about Grand Valley that is consistent with the university’s messages, and to keep readers emotionally engaged in the university through high-quality stories, photographs and videos.

Each issue of the full-color magazine includes feature stories plus the following regular departments: Research, Athletics, Arts, Alumni Leadership Giving, Alumni News, Campus News, Q&A, Sustainability, Focal Point and Off the Path.

The printed magazine is supported by this website, which has been redesigned to provide visitors with better search capabilities, ability to share articles on social media and view videos.

Rates:

There may be an additional charge for ad photos that would need to be taken by University Communications photographers. To inquire, contact Michele Coffill at [email protected].

Ads will be positioned in the magazine at the staff’s discretion.

Ads submitted past deadlines will not be considered.

Submitted files must be Adobe InDesign (preferred) or Illustrator files.

Files must be layered and editable: all text must be editable; If providing an Illustrator format, do not outline fonts; Provide all fonts and links; All raster graphics and photos provided must be 300 dpi at actual size.

Ads using the university logo must adhere to the university logo standards. More information about Grand Valley's logo standards can be found here.

Grand Valley Magazine reserves the right to edit ads to comply with our standards if necessary.
