Cedar Springs High School
Project Description:
Inspired by a mentor challenge, the high school Eco Club launched a five-year reforestation initiative to plant 5,000 trees, aiming to offset the school’s carbon footprint and restore local ecosystems. In spring 2024, students planted over 400 trees and are now learning propagation techniques to grow saplings from donated cuttings, expanding their impact through community planting and hands-on environmental stewardship.
