Raymond J. Lovett, Jr.

Dr. Raymond J. Lovett, Jr. was born in Syracuse, New York. He received his bachelor’s degree from Marquette University in Milwaukee and his doctorate degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin. He attended his residency at St. Mary’s Health Services in Grand Rapids where he specialized in Orthopedic Surgery.

Ray was one of the original physicians who formed River Valley Orthopedics with the merger of Washington Square Orthopedics and Orthopedic Associates of West Michigan. He retired from River Valley in 2005.

He has served on many medical boards including Chief of Staff for Mary Free Bed Hospital and Rehabilitation Center and Sports Medicine Consultant for St. Mary’s Health Services. He was also a clinical faculty member and a co-orthopedic consultant with the athletic department at Grand Valley State University.
