Dan and Pamella DeVos

Daniel and Pamella DeVos believe every individual can achieve great things and seek to invest in areas—like higher education—that provide a platform for people to reach their fullest potential. Their gift to the Center for Interprofessional Health is an investment in both the students at Grand Valley and the future of West Michigan. The innovative and collaborative approach to learning taught in this building equips graduates to provide world-class health care in our region and beyond for generations to come.

Dan is chairman and CEO of DP Fox Ventures, LLC, president/CEO of the Grand Rapids Griffins, and chairman of the Orlando Magic. Pamella is the president, owner, and  designer of her own clothing line, pamella roland, and has been inducted into the Council of Fashion Designers of America for her work. She has also served on numerous boards  in the arts community, including the Grand Rapids Art Museum, Grand Rapids Symphony, Joffrey Ballet, Whitney Museum of American Art, and the John F. Kennedy Center for  the Performing Arts.

Together, Dan and Pamella have provided leadership, insight, and financial support to many organizations, including Grand Valley State University. They served as co-chairs of the Shaping Our Future campaign and are vice chairs for the Grand Valley University Foundation. In 2010, they were honored with Grand Valley’s Enrichment Award, recognizing  their dedication and commitment to public service, economic development, education, cultural enrichment, and ethical standards. They were among the lead donors supporting the L. William Seidman Center and Raleigh J. Finkelstein Hall at Grand Valley. The university is grateful to Dan and Pamella for their continued support of its students and their passion for equipping our next generation of health care professionals with the best training and education available. Dan and Pamella are continuing the DeVos family’s legacy of providing transformative support for health and education in West Michigan.
