GVSU faculty can partner to assist area nonprofit organizations
through a new program from the Johnson Center.
The Dorothy A. Johnson Center for Philanthropy is launching a new
program to foster problem-solving and relationship-building among GVSU
faculty and small Michigan-based nonprofit organizations.
The Juan Olivarez Learning Equity Endowment (JOLEE) will support the
program, offering honorariums of $1,000 to faculty members for their participation.
An example of such a collaboration would be a marketing faculty
member reviewing and providing feedback on a nonprofit’s annual
advertising strategy. Other
examples and criteria for nonprofits and faculty members are
detailed online.
The deadline to apply is November 14. Projects should expect to be
completed by June 30, 2026. For questions, contact Tory Martin at [email protected].
