Meagan Luttenton-Knoll

Meagan Luttenton-Knoll is the keynote speaker at the GV Technology Summit on October 2.

The inaugural GV Technology Summit is October 2, from noon-5 p.m. at the DeVos Center for Interprofessional Health on the City Campus. It will explore how technology continues to shape teaching, learning, work and research across the university.

While technology brings efficiency and innovation, its true power lies in advancing the university’s mission: supporting students and helping them reach their goals. The summit’s keynote speaker, Meagan Luttenton-Knoll, will share her firsthand perspective on how technology and student support can and should go hand-in-hand.

Luttenton-Knoll will share how pausing to notice a shift in data led to a powerful student connection, one that not only changed the student’s outcomes but also reshaped how she approaches data and human insights in her own work.

“Grand Valley has incredible momentum in technology throughout our campus community,” Luttenton-Knoll said. “I look forward to being part of a celebration that highlights achievements and sparks innovative ideas that will propel teaching, research and service to new heights.”

Along with Luttenton-Knoll’s keynote, the GV Technology Summit will feature poster sessions, roundtable discussions and breakout sessions, ending with a Women in Technology panel. Attendees can join for a single session or experience the full program.

Registration for the GV Technology Summit is open through September 19. Visit gvsu.edu/it/summit to learn more and reserve your spot.
