The Seidman Investment Portfolio Organization (IPO) is the premier collegiate investment organization at Grand Valley State University with roughly $150,000 AUM. Founded in 1976, we are a fully student-run organization focused on long-short opportunities in the equity markets.
We primarily use a bottom-up approach to analyze potential investments and seek companies with strong economic moats and sound fundamentals. In addition to managing our fund, we strive to provide members with a comprehensive introduction to the financial services industry through guest lectures, investment education sessions, exclusive networking opportunities, and our competitive research analyst program.
