There are reports of hackers transferring HSA funds into pre-paid debit cards which can be used without raising suspicions. Good advice: Protect your HSA like a checking account. Use a strong password, implement multi-factor authentication if possible, and review the statements. Check the FTC to understand your liability for unauthorized charges to credit, ATM and debit cards.
