The NIARA (knee-r-ruh) Program is a student program hosted by GVSU: Center for Women & Gender Equity (CWGE). It is designed to increase a sense of community and belonging, centering the experiences of those that identify as women of color (WOC). Our vision is to create opportunities for WOC to be seen and excel academically, socially, and culturally.
Monthly engagement opportunities are scheduled to allow students to come together for guided discussions, seek feedback and demonstrate a community collective supporting each other. (INT) 100/201 approved
