What is a 'Cording Ceremony'?

A cording ceremony is an opportunity to celebrate the accomplishments of our graduates in a quiet and familiar setting with friends, family and faculty. The ceremony is designed by faculty to recognize students' accomplishments and welcome them to their new roles and responsibilities.  Each student will come forward and be given a cord to wear to graduation. In addition, faculty and a guest speaker will speak, light refreshments will be served and opportunities for photos will be plenty.
