Pure Waters: A Citizens Agenda for Water Quality and Affordability in Michigan captures what Bridge Magazine heard from Michigan residents throughout the fall of 2019. Namely, residents told them they want state leaders to enact stringent regulations that could improve the quality of the state’s waterways, and to build water infrastructure that provides safe, affordable water. Michiganders say taking these steps are essential to protecting our waters - the key to Michigan’s prosperity and way of life.
A copy of this agenda is being delivered to state-level elected leaders today. Many of the comments shared in this report came directly from the Citizen Water Summit that Michigan residents participated in.
