Respiratory Care RRT-BSRC

Applications will continue to be accepted until all seats in the program are filled.

  • RRT-BSRC Track is for students who have graduated from a CoARC-accredited associate degree program and have their Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential.
  • This program typically starts in the winter semester each year, however full-time and part-time options are available and therefore students can start in any semester once accepted to the program.
  • These students will complete Respiratory Care (RSC), Allied Health Sciences (AHS) and General education designated courses. The number of outstanding general education course requirements will depend upon previous coursework. Student transcript(s) will be evaluated to determine transfer courses that fulfill the bachelor degree requirements.
  • Students who have completed the MACRAO or MTA criteria through a community college will have fulfilled many of the general courses.
  • Per the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC), students entering the program without the advanced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential must achieve the credential prior to taking the final semester RSC 495 capstone course.
  • Students can transfer up to 80 credits from the respiratory care associate degree and a minimum of 40 credits (of the required 120 graduation credits) must be from a senior-level institution/university.
