What is the Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization?
The Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization is a national network dedicated to supporting student entrepreneurship across more than 250 universities. CEO provides education, mentorship, and real‑world opportunities for students to develop and launch business ideas. Through conferences, competitions, and campus chapters, CEO connects aspiring founders with resources, industry leaders, and a nationwide community committed to innovation and venture creation.

The Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization at GVSU helps students launch ideas, learn entrepreneurship skills, and connect with real founders. The club hosts workshops, speaker events, and pitch competitions, provides mentorship through CEI, and supports students in building or joining startups. Members gain hands‑on experience, networking opportunities, and access to the National CEO Conference. Open to all majors, CEO Club is GVSU’s hub for innovation, creativity, and student‑driven venture creation.

CEO Club Annual Idea Pitch & Showcase
C.E.O. Club has been hosting pitch competitions for students since 2005. Each competitor gets 90 seconds to present their idea with no slides and no props, giving students the chance to communicate their ideas to judges. First place receives a $1,250 check. The National CEO Conference will be held in Clearwater Beach, Florida, from November 5 - 7 this year. Any active CEO Club member is eligible to attend.

CEO Club National Conference
The annual CEO National Conference is a three‑day gathering that brings together hundreds of student entrepreneurs, founders, and innovators from across the country. Held each fall in a major U.S. city, the conference features keynote speakers from high‑growth startups, hands‑on workshops, networking sessions, and national pitch competitions where students compete for funding and recognition.
Attendees gain exposure to emerging technologies, venture strategies, and real‑world entrepreneurial experiences while connecting with peers, mentors, and industry leaders. It’s a high‑energy environment that gives students practical insight, fresh ideas, and meaningful connections they can carry back to campus!
