MLL 314 - High-Leverage Practices for World Language Teaching

This course provides an introduction to core practices for world language pedagogy, emphasizing standards-based tasks through backward design to facilitate comprehensibility and promote interpersonal communication. Field experience of 30 hours (in-person and virtual) required in PK-12 world language settings. Options available for students without transportation. Offered fall and winter semesters. Prerequisites: MLL 313 (may be taken concurrently); one of FRE 315, GER 302, or SPA 301 with a grade of C (not C-); or permission of instructor.
