ACC 647 - Tax Planning and Practice II

This course covers corporate and business tax planning and practice, including managing the effective tax rate and making tax-efficient business decisions. Fundamental tax-accounting concepts, including accounting methods, accounting periods, and inventory accounting, are also covered. The course covers representation of clients in tax controversies with federal and state tax agencies. Offered Winter semester. Prerequisites: ACC 615 or equivalent.
