PSY 534 - Mental Health in the Schools

This course examines the research foundation and application of mental health interventions delivered in educational settings, with an emphasis on Tier 2 and Tier 3 supports. Students will engage in applied experiences delivering manualized interventions to small groups of youth to address social emotional concerns at school-based practicum sites. Offered winter semester. Prerequisite: Admission to the school psychology program.
