EDR 635 - Teaching Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Students

Examines how language and language variations are used in social context and the interdependent relationship between language and culture. Provides a theoretical and practical foundation for candidates to use linguistically and culturally responsive teaching strategies. 20 hours field experience required. Offered winter semester. Prerequisite: Admission to a College of Education and Community Innovation graduate program.
