ENG 307 - Teaching Writing: Elementary

A study of the writing process and of current theories of rhetoric, discourse analysis, language acquisition, and reading, all applied to teaching writing on the elementary level. A tutoring practicum may be required, and students will also work on their own writing. Should be taken prior to College of Education admission. Offered fall and winter semesters. Prerequisites: WRT 150 and sophomore standing.
