This program is designed for teachers who wish to further develop their knowledge and competencies in their specialized content area and also in teaching at the middle or high school levels. Students can complete a science concentration within this emphasis program.

Requirements for M.Ed. in Instruction and Curriculum:
Each candidate for the M.Ed. in instruction and curriculum must complete the following areas: Social Foundations of Education (choose one):
- EDF 671 - Educational Policy and Practice (3 credits)
- EDF 672 - Social/Cultural Foundations of Education (3 credits)
Research and Evaluation:
