PHY 601 - Physics by Inquiry I

Focuses on the development of fundamental concepts, reasoning and critical thinking skills through inquiry-based instruction and laboratory experience, using materials based on research in physics education. Introduces teachers to inquiry-based instruction by immersing them in it as students. Topics include light, color, optics and astronomy. (2-0-2) Offered spring/summer semester of even-numbered years. Prerequisite: Permission of instructor.
