Teacher Leader Certificate
Interested students must have approval of their College of Education educational leadership faculty advisor and have a planned program on file before beginning the program. The teacher leadership certificate is a cohort model and it is recommended that all students participating in this program enroll in the cohort program. The length of the program is 18 months including the three academic courses and the professional development component.
Requirements for a Teacher Leader Certificate:
A Teacher Leader Certificate is available to students who complete the following:
- Complete the school district or intermediate school district professional development requirement
- EDL 665 - Educational Leadership Credits: 3
- EDL 666 - Curriculum Leadership Credits: 3
- EDL 677 - School and Community Relationships Credits: 3
