EDS 471 - Directed Teaching in Cognitive Impairment

Student teaching in a classroom with students who have cognitive impairments. Accompanying seminars on methods of teaching and the organization and development of curriculum for students with cognitive impairments. Offered winter semester. Prerequisites: successful completion of prior coursework and positive recommendations from prior fieldwork. Corequisite: EDS 441. Students must earn a minimum grade of B- to pass this field experience. In the event that a student is removed from EDS 471, withdrawal from EDS 441 is required.
