Microorganisms studied in their roles in the environment, medicine and industry, emphasizing methods and techniques useful for secondary teachers. Lecture and laboratory. Offered summer semester every third year. Prerequisites: bachelors degree, including a year each of biology and chemistry, and teacher certification.
