ENG 309 - Teaching Literature to Children

Introduces to students the important materials (classic and contemporary), teaching strategies, issues, and research related to children's literature as well as guiding the reading of children. Required for language arts majors. Should be taken prior to Student Teaching. Offered fall and winter semesters. Prerequisites: Fulfillment of the freshman writing requirement and Sophomore status.
