The Freshmen Health Career Exploration Fair is a collaborative initiative between GVSU's College of Health Professions and Kirkhof College of Nursing to support Battle Creek Central High School's Career Pathway in Health and Human Services. This fair familiarizes students with high-paying and intellectually stimulating careers in health care, exposes them to community resources, and provides a context for active-learning experiences in which health career exploration may occur. The fair helps to encourage high school freshmen to enroll in science and mathematics courses to prepare them for rigorous health sciences majors in college.
