Exploring Careers in Education and Leadership (EXCEL) Camp is a residential camp designed to help rising BCCHS seniors think about careers in education, gain opportunities to be a student leader, and prepare for pursuing a college education. Scholars in the five-day program will develop leadership skills, explore Grand Valley State University and the West Michigan community, and learn more about college life in preparation for their senior year. Scholars will work with GVSU undergraduate student counselors and faculty members.

Camp Scholars will earn a $500 stipend after successfully completing the camp.

Space is limited and priority will be given first to students interested in a teaching career.
