Athletic Training Graduate Assistant Position (position filled)

Position: Graduate Assistant Position (1 available) in Athletic Training starting in the Fall of 2023.

Qualifications: BOC Certification, eligible for Michigan licensure, and must meet all GVSU graduate school requirements for admission.

Responsibilities: Responsibilities include clinical instruction in the CAATE Accredited Athletic Training Program, Preceptor for athletic training majors with Intercollegiate Athletics, administrative duties, and assisting with teaching and research.

Salary: $4000 per semester with a tuition waiver of 9 credit hours per semester with a maximum of 18 per year.

Qualifications: Must be admitted to the GVSU MAT graduate program at the time of appointment, AND be a full-time student within the program.  Must be in good academic standing.

Responsibilities: Responsibilities include assisting faculty with research and scholarly activities, with teaching as assigned (ATH 210, ATH 217, 218– others as assigned), organize/implement weekly proficiency/skill labs for MAT students and ATH  217 and 218 students, and assist the Admission Coordinator, Program Director, Clinical Education Coordinator, and MAT Faculty with administrative duties as assigned.

Salary: $2000 per semester with a tuition waiver of 4.5 credit hours per semester with a maximum of 9 per year.
