Local Grand Rapids, Michigan, artist Mary Ellen McNaughton’s interest in spirituality and nature shines through in her works of art. A lifetime of creative expression, she has created colorful and often whimsical paintings, mosaics, and sculptures. Starting from an early age, Mary Ellen was inspired to create art and became dedicated to experimenting with new media and forms. Her works took a unique, personalized approach that explored modernized storytelling inspired by mythology, nature, and folk art.
