As our capacity allows, GVSU Art Museum staff can arrange to visit classrooms with original works of art, host groups of students in our art storage facility, and provide tours of exhibitions. Each semester, we create learning resources and experiential opportunities related to exhibitions and the collection. We offer these experiences to GVSU classes, student clubs, Pre-K - 12 groups, and community groups.

The GVSU Art Museum presents events, activities, and resources related to exhibitions, art in public spaces, and the permanent collection each semester to support faculty and engage students and community members. We also collaborate with departments and individual faculty to develop additional opportunities. And we host tours and visit classes throughout the year.

The Art Museum hires student employees each semester to help with care and maintenance of the collection, exhibitions, events, social media, special projects, and more. We invite students to engage with artwork in a variety of ways and share their experiences in our Student Perspectives blog. In addition, many of our learning events each semester are INT 100/201 approved.

GVSU Art Museum presents events, activities, and resources related to exhibitions, art in public spaces, and the permanent collection, all of which are available to members of our GVSU Community and beyond. Each semester, we create learning resources and experiential opportunities related to exhibitions and the collection. Many of these resources are available to the community and K12 educators. 

Community members are welcome to visit any of our exhibition spaces and view artwork in public GVSU buildings during normal business hours. Our collection is also available 24-7 online.
