AOD Services


Group Therapy: Alcohol and Other Drugs Services in conjunction with the University Counseling Center offers groups surrounding substance use and family dynamic. 

Recovery Meetings: Meetings are open to those who have a desire to stop using alcohol or other drugs.

Events and Programs: We will lead or collaborate on a variety of presentations and events across campus.

Online Mental Health Screenings: Brief screenings are the quickest way to determine if you or someone you care about should connect with a mental health professional. 

Peer Education: Alcohol and Other Drugs Services peer educators are committed to improving the well-being of Grand Valley students through education, outreach, and referral. 

Alcohol eCheckup: The eCheckup To Go is an online assessment that will ask you several questions about your relationship with alcohol and nicotine.

Marijuana eCheckup: The eToke (eCheckup To Go – Marijuana) is an online assessment that will ask you several questions about your relationship with marijuana. 

Nicotine eCheckup: The Nicotine eCheckup To Go is an online assessment that will ask you several questions about your relationship with nicotine. 

ScreenU Rx: ScreenU Rx is an online assessment that will ask you several questions about your relationship with prescription drugs. 

Marijuana Education Workshop: This Marijuana awareness class is designed for both personal concerns and/or court obligations.

Alcohol Education Workshop:This alcohol awareness class is designed for both personal concerns and/or court obligations.
