Grand Valley's adventure tourism minor prepares students to become tourism experts who create, direct, and promote adventure experiences. The development of the adventure tourism industry is paired with a growing need for capable adventure tourism managers.
You will take courses that cover essential topics like geotourism and wildland recreation management, along with fitness and skill courses like rock climbing and sailing, which are crucial for developing the physical competencies required in the field. Electives allow you to tailor your educational experience to your personal interests, with options ranging from international tourism to natural resource policy.
