The program offers students who are interested in becoming tax specialists an intensive, concentrated learning experience that will explore the essential aspects of taxation and permit an in-depth investigation in areas of interest.

Program Overview

The Master of Science in taxation (M.S.T.) program is for students interested in expanding or continuing their education in taxation. It includes a minimum of 33 credits as described below:

  • Prerequisites (if needed)
  • Core courses in taxation
  • Taxation or other business electives

Application Deadline

A fully completed application must be submitted a minimum of 30 days prior to the intended semester of enrollment. The $30 nonrefundable application fee is waived if the applicant has previously applied to Grand Valley State University. Please visit gvsu.edu/gradapply/.

Location & Format

Face to face courses are scheduled during the day and are offered at Grand Valley's Allendale Campus.
