Electrical engineers design and build systems to tackle problems big
and small. They integrate the fields of electronic circuit design,
electromagnetics, digital signal processing, control systems, and
power systems to analyze and solve problems involving electric and
electronic systems. Applications of these designs include consumer
electronics, power generation and delivery, telecommunications,
alternative energy, aviation and aerospace systems, electric vehicles,
and electromagnetic compatibility.
Engineers are designer, innovators, and practical problem solvers in
every sphere of life. The Master of Science in Engineering (M.S.E.)
prepares students to innovate and design engineered systems to improve
human life in a sustainable world. The M.S.E. program educates
engineers to be able technical leaders in industry as well as to
pursue higher education in their field of interest.
