GMAT Preparation Workshops

The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is a requirement for the graduate business programs. The GMAT is a test of analytical reasoning. Consequently, individuals who have been practicing in fields outside of business should be at no particular disadvantage. However, the Seidman College has found that this test can be a hurdle for students, especially those who have been practicing in fields where algebra is not routinely applied.

To assist you, the Seidman College offers a GMAT preparation course at no charge. The course is offered several times a year. It covers test-taking skills and techniques and helps you develop your own study plan around the quantitative, verbal, and writing components of the test. For more information, please conatact the MBA office at go2gvmba@gvsu.edu. Additionally, you don't have to wait to take the GMAT to get started on the Seidman MBA program! If you haven't acquired business knowledge and skills through previous business course work, you may enroll with the Seidman School as a non-degree-seeking student for up to three foundation courses.
