Call for Proposals
Be part of the inaugural conference that celebrates GVSU communicators! We are seeking dynamic presenters who would like to showcase transformative projects, or share best practices that have worked for them in breakout sessions.
Submit a proposal for you or a team to present! Details are below. Any questions can be directed to Kate VanDerKolk, [email protected], a member of the UCN steering committee and CommCon subcommittee.
Proposed Topics
We are looking for sessions focused on communications. Potential themes are listed below to help you think about your proposals. You are certainly not limited to these topics:
- AI and Emerging Technology: Exploring how artificial intelligence and new technologies are transforming the communications landscape
- Accessibility and Inclusivity in Communication: Best practices for creating communications that reach and resonate with diverse audiences
- Building Sustainable Processes and Systems: Strategies for developing communications frameworks that are efficient, scalable, and long-lasting
- Reach Higher Commitments: Sessions aligned with GVSU’s Reach Higher Together strategic plan
We encourage creative and innovative proposals that address current challenges and opportunities in the field.
Your help is needed!
We are looking for volunteers now to serve on one of three subcommittees — logistics, scheduling, and communications/marketing. Prior conference planning experience is not needed, bring only your enthusiasm.
Please send an email to Michele Coffill, [email protected], and indicate your committee preference.
