PAL Facilitators

Peer Assisted Learning (PAL) facilitators are students who are recommended by faculty members in the discipline and attend training to learn how to help students with a variety of issues they may encounter, including content support, learning and study strategies, socialization, adapting to a new environment, and more.

PAL Facilitator Requirements

PAL facilitators must:

  • Have a 3.0 GPA or higher
  • Earned a B+ or higher in the course they are embedded
  • Exhibit positive study habits and high self-efficacy
  • Attend training and professional development meetings
  • Have a faculty recommendation
