Welcome to the Thompson and Charter Scholars community!
This annual welcome session is your official introduction to a network dedicated to your academic, personal, and professional growth at GVSU. Hosted by the Thompson Student Success Center (TSSC), this event brings together incoming scholars to build lasting connections and lay the groundwork for a successful university experience.
What to expect at the session:
- Meet Your Community: Network with fellow first-year Thompson and Charter Scholars.
- Connect with Success Coaches: Meet the dedicated team ready to support you with academic and campus resources.
- Program Overview: Learn about your scholarship expectations, including the Thompson & Charter Scholars Leadership Series and community volunteer events.
- Discover the TSSC Hub: Find out how to utilize the TSSC lounge space in the Kirkhof Center for free printing, study spaces, snacks, and success coaching.
