GVSU Students of Color will be sharing their experiences studying abroad. Attendees will hear from a panel of students and alumni about their journeys in diverse locations around the world. Students will discuss various topics including some of the challenges they experienced, how to talk to parents about going abroad, culture shock and adjustment, how to fund study abroad, and more. Staff from the Padnos International Center will talk about scholarship and funding opportunities and how new students can start their own journey abroad. The event will include a Q&A with the panelists & PIC staff. After the program, students will be encouraged to stay to talk to the panelists.
